HI all,

As I am trying to narrow down my choice, I want to soliciting your kind help and opinions on some specific choice. I am dying to have lobster rolls again as there is no such thing really in Asia. (I guess you can make one but it ain't the same). And I want to have really good fresh shucked oysters or some simple but fresh and well prepared seafood (cooked or raw).

Should I go back to the oldies like Luke's Lobster, Pearl Oyster Bar, Ed's lobster, or Lobster Place? (Grand Central Oyster Bar isn't my favorite, but I do like their oyster pan roast).

Or should I go for the newer ones (well new to me), such as John Dory Oyster Bar, or Eataly (the seafood place inside)? I heard Mable Lane does a pretty good lobster roll as well?

I don't necessarily have to do lobster rolls and oysters and seafood at the same place. They can be at separate places.

I searched on the board about these places and most of the threads are comments on one specific place without comparing with others. Therefore I ask here....

Your feedback will be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks
kobetobiko
