Hello everyone I'm new to the site.
My wife and I will be traveling to NYC between Nov. 21-26. While we have been to NYC many, many times- we are always in quest of a new experience. We will be meeting up with her mother and her brother who is in his last year of residency...so the night will be a special one. The night I'm referring to will fall on Thanksgiving; however, we are not in quest of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
The last time we met up in NYC we ended up in Brooklyn and discovered Henry's End by accident and the night could not have been better! The restaurant was very warm and cozy; the food was spectacular and the staff made the night special. My brother in law is a huge meat eater so ending up there was great.
What I'm trying to find is another restaurant in NYC that has (in this order); spectacular food (especially meats), very good service, a cozy feel (no stark or big rooms), a wine list that has at least a nice selection of California wines and an atmosphere that compliments the occasion.
Any suggestions/advice/recommendations that fall inside Manhattan (we are staying at the new Hilton Millennium by the World Trade Center Memorial) or even Brooklyn would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
