My fiancee and I were up in the Vic Park/ Finch area last night and decided to go to Aoyama for dinner after wanting to go there ever since we read about them here. The Sashimi was fantastic! There was the prerequsite tuna and salmon and kai, as well as some incredible scallops, botan shrimp (which I wouldn't eat just anywhere!) and a fish that Endo-san marinated in kelp, not to mention squid and my personal favorite, Uni!! . He also brought over a plate of real, freshly grated wasabi. (Yum Yum Yum!!)
But anyway, Endo-san's wife recommended a sparkling sake they imported from Japan. She said this might be the only shipment they'll ever get in. So we thought, why the heck not? I LOVED it. It's by far the sweetest sake I've ever had. With the sashimi, it was dynamite. It's about 30$ for a bottle of 350ml, which is a little steep, but I highly recommend trying it while they have it!
Now i get to go look for the sake when I visit Hong Kong in March!
