I had a great birthday dinner with my mom at Spago last night (her birthday). Two things popped in my mind this am, though. Somehow Wolfgang's allure stopped me from thinking of them last night.
1. Do they normally provide petit fours? We werent' offered any.
2. When one guest relays to the server that they do not like foie gras or oysters, do they normally bring portions to that person? And don't they normally "make up" for it somehow by offering something different or a larger portion of somehitng they do like?
Just curious. Overall, it was excellent. I'll post more on that later. This is just irking me right now. Thanks!
