Spadra in Fullerton -- brief review

OCAnn | Jun 13, 2006 04:59 PM

Today, a colleague & I went to Spadra for lunch; our first time there. We were there by 12:05. We were promptly seated and served water & bread.

We ordered grilled pollo & meatball sandwiches. At 12:20, the waiter came back and retook our order since she couldn't read her own writing.

At 12:35, we still didn't get our food. So I went back to the bar and asked our waiter where our food was (the place wasn't busy so that couldn't explain the hold up) and that we'd have to go back to the office soon. She said it was being prepared and would be "right out."

By 12:45, she brought us our bill (even before she brought out our food) and to-go boxes. By 12:50, we walked out. We never got our lunch. Didn't see a manager...and I didn't care to wait for our waiter.

Very poor service. The water tasted like any other tap water in Fullerton with lemon though the bread was decent. I've emailed them...who knows how long it'll be before I get a response.
