I had a lovely lunch there today with a couple of friends, and contrary to what I have seen written on this board, Spadaro has no intention of expanding. Rina said that if the place were bigger, she wouldn't have the chance to talk to me, as she was doing, letting me dust off my rusty Italian. According to Rina, some of the problems that they ran into were caused by seating walk-ins, a practice that they have stopped. Now they will go only with reservations, which may alleviate some of the problems that they have had. Maybe. I think you take Spadaro for what it is, and you either like the quirky Italian nature of the place or you don't. Maybe it helps to be Italian! At any rate, our meal was fantastic and there were some other, wonderful meals being had at other tables as well. I just wish I hadn't gotten so full!
