We seen tons of Italian restaurant around here in
Bay area from northern part of Italy.
This is diffrent. "Da Luca" Italian ristorante.
It corner at McMullen Booth Rd and Enterprise.
Just across from Hawaiian BBQ place.
Small tiny place served traditional southern Italian
What is different between southern Italian and
northern Italian dish ???
Actually, I didn't know.
Southern uses a lot of tomato sauce and olive oil.
Northern uses a lot of cream and butter.
That is they explain to me.
Chef original from Napoli and opend business
here 10 month ago.
Menu was simple and not too big.
7 items of appetizers and 7 kind of pasta and
7 items of entrees and couple of daily specials
as well. No Pizza !!
I saw several different dishes I neve seen around here.
"Carbonala" which is one of my favorite pasta dish
however I couldn't find many place and finally got it.
It was so funny when I was Japan long time ago,
There has so many Italian place every each brocks
And "Carbonala" was very popular.
Anyway, I was pretty impressed when I found it here.
Very tasty !!
All meal was good value and reasonable price.
20~30 kind of Italian wine also interesting.
This place open dinner ONLY 7days.
5-10 weekday and 5-11 weekend.
