I'm coordinating a dinner for a young friends group of a museum here in Philly. We usually tour one of our galleries, then follow it with dinner at a restaurant with a menu that complements the theme of the collection just viewed. We have done our Maya collection with dinner after at Zocalo and our Greek collection with dinner after at Effies.
This time we're doing an Italian music concert and want to follow it with dinner in South Philly. The restaurant will need to be able to accommodate 30-40 people. We prefer a BYO so that we can bring our own wine and not worry about how to handle a liquor tab, and we also would like people to be able to sit in groups both large and small enough to get to know each other (in other words 4-tops are too small, but a big U-shaped table to accommodate everyone is too large).
Tre Scalini can do no more than 30 - which worries me a bit. Ralphs isn't byo. Other suggestions?
By the way, our date is Tuesday, Sept. 17.
Thanks in advance for the help.
