Stopped at the Marina Village location before the Rosenblum open house, and they were pushing caldo de pollo. The portion looked small, so I got a fish taco, too.
The soup! Dense and thick--the broth was thick and hearty, full of herbal notes, and with a spicy tingle. and the soup was dense with all kinds of things I like, especially corn. Lots of chicken in there, too. With chips, a quite adequate lunch. The taco was irrelevant.
I've never been wild about this chain, but I'll go back a lot for this soup. It's exactly what I didn't get in Amici's minestrone.
