i go here often for drinks after work, and the appitizers and food just do not impress me. it's like chinese gone wrong, maybe that's too harsh but i'm just not a fan of their dinners.

however...

my broker asked me to join him with a couple builders for lunch a couple fridays ago. i was reluctant, however i figure i'd take one for the team. i am happy to report that their dim sum is FANTASTIC.

we ordered pretty much everything on their dim sum menu along with sauteed green beans and chow mein.

i'm not sure if this is traditional dim sum, i know some were played up i thought most things were straight forward and what i expected.

nothing was over fried, extremely greasy, over cooked. everything seemed to be prepared perfectly.

the wait staff were more then attentive, fast, listening, and full of suggestions when asked. we never had to ask or say a word when the tea needed a refil, or a clean plate. pin point service.

portions are good, prices range from $3-5 a plate. most plates contain 3 items (3 sheui mei, 3 har-gow, etc)

i didn't take any mental notes as i was so shocked, and actually had to take a short walk with one of the builders after because we ate so much.

highy recommended. just pace yourself and listen to your stomach to tell you when you're full.
