First, I apologize if this has already been covered.
Anyway, I just read about Silicon Valley Restaurant Week from October 14-21; two participating restaurants in particular that jumped out to me were Alexander's and Trevese (as well as Junnoon, although it's not quite as pricey as the other two and therefore not as good of a choice for Restaurant Week, seemingly).
I live in SF but am not really familiar with the South Bay restaurants. Alexander's seems like the best choice - I have heard nothing but good things about it. Trevese, not as much, although its Michelin star can't be totally ignored (although none of the Michelin-starred restaurants I've eaten at have totally blown me away, although I've still been happy at all except for Murray Circle).
If you had to pick one, which would you pick. Assuming Alexander's entree for the prix-fixe menu is a steak, it would seem like that'd be an absolute steal, considering steaks start at $33 and the prix-fixe is $35.
