Was taken there the other night as part of a holliday gift.

Steak -- Had the sirloin (of course), medium-rare. They got the salty crust just right, but the rest of the steak was overcooked. No way this was medium-rare. Steak was slightly dry and tasteless. It would help if that had some kind of sauce or condiment. They don't. Would give it 3 out of 5 stars.

Sides -- Potatoes ($6.50?) tasted like they were sitting around for a long time. Creamed spinach ($9?) was blah and room temperature.

Appetizers -- Baked clams and shrimp scampi appetizer was standard issue stuff, except $18 for four clams and two shrimp is ridiculous.

Service -- Indifferent, which is fine with me.

Room -- TACKY. Reminded me of an old Beefsteak Charlie's. The ugly brown drop ceiling looked like it was ready to give way.

Dishes -- I normally wouldn't care about the dishes, but these didn't match and looked like they were purchased at Pearl River Mart for $1 each.

Overall I think it's safe to say I'll never go back there again. Much better steaks to be had in many places to waste time and money on Sparks.
