We will be in the city next weekend. My brother and wife are coming out from Seattle and we are all going in on Saturday and overnight. Believe it or not this is the second trip to NYC she won, hotel, airfare, etc. included in less than a year.
As I don't think it is ever getting warm again we will be looking for comfort food. My brother and husband love short ribs. My two sisters are fussy but usually can find something on a menu be it a burger or steak.
We think we'd like to maybe wander the village area as we are also looking for some good bars where we can sit and talk and then maybe later in the evening get louder and have some fun. We are all in our 50's but like a good time.
Husband and brother like beers, micro brews, local beers, I like artisinal cocktails and sisters like Coors Light.
Saw the menu for Home and it looks like it may be what we are looking for food and area wise. There are six of us and they do take reservations.
Is that a good choice? Any other suggestions instead? How about places to have drinks.
We aren't stuck on the village, we are flexible. We are staying in the Times Square area, brother and sister-in-law by Lincoln Center, so we are willing to take cabs to get where we need to go.
Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated.
