What Makes An SF Food Goody Bag?

DukeDee | Sep 7, 2003 07:17 PM

A package of non-perishable locally produced and distributed food items sent to Central Oregon was:

Milan Salami
Torani Syrup-French Vanilla flavor
Espresso Rub from Yum Foods
Anna's Danish Cookies

Where I looked:

Bi-Rite Foods-service++, they should be popular
Yum Foods- the owner Paul knows his business
Berkeley Bowl-more inventory than Amazon.com
Harvest Market on Market St.-when you want 2nd class
Rockridge Food Hall-Oaklands best

Suggestions I ignored:

Molinari Salami
See's Candies
Embarcadero Pretentious Yuppie Farmers Market anything
Anchor Steam Beer
Peet's Coffee
Rice-a-Roni
Harry and David's
