SEI Restaurant & Lounge

My husband and I went to SEI Restaurant & Lounge with some friends last night. We all loved it. The decor is stunning: similar to its sister restaurant Oya, it's all white with red accents. Both the food and drinks were delicious. We LOVED the wasabi guacamole...I dare say I preferred it to traditional guacamole. We really liked the pork buns. The kobe sliders were good, but were definitely trumped by the pork.
For the sushi, we tried four different rolls: Snow White (eel, apple, and avocado), fish and chips, kobe, and sun-dried tomato. The Snow White and fish and chips rolls were the favorites but the latter two were good too.
We had the chocolate fondant w/sake sorbet and green tea sauce for dessert...delicious!
The drinks were incredible. Favorites included the liquid wasabi and silver samurai. The Asian pear sangria was good but pretty much a typical sangria.
Service was great and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. It was hard to believe that they had only been open 6 weeks!
I definitely recommend SEI and can't wait to return!
