Have been sloooowly working thru the menu at Seaport Soup Company the last couple of weeks and I've been really happy with this nice addition to the neighborhood.

Today I had the Wisconsin Smoked White Cheddar and Spicy Sausage which is absolutely rich and decadent and perfect for this weather. The sausage is plentiful (which I really appreciate--hate it when the skimp on sausage).

The have a menu of about 10 or so soups. "Classics," soups that are always on the menu like Louisiana Gumbo and Specials like today's cheddar soup. I have really liked most of their bean soups including the white bean with spicy sausage.

I tried the Louisiana Gumbo and it was only so-so, lacking that gumbo oomph. Also unsuccesful was the Bluefish Chowder which had very large pieces of potato and fish -- to large to manage for a soup I thought. And the flavor, can't quite identify what I didn't like but I definitely wouldnt get it again.

All soups come with a homemade roll. Prices range from around $5 for a 12 oz cup, to $6.95 when the soup involves high end ingredients like wellfleet oysters, etc. They also offer salads and sandwiches.
