Nice article. I've been a Seoul Gom Tang regular since it opened. There's a new kid in town, Seen Chon House, on the corner of Kiely and Benton. After getting a tip for a co-worker a few months back, I haven't been back to SGT. The soup is more refined and the kim chi is better at Seen Chon, IMO. In fact, the napa cabbage kim chi is one of the best that I've had. They have the standard soups: brisket, oxtail, etc. One soup that is unique is wul sul, beef tongue...now my de facto standard when I dine here.
