[SEA] Sheik's House BBCue - possibly the best in town....

I know there are some serious 'cue fans here on Chound, so thought I should post this...

Driving home from our local grocery store today I noticed that the former Taqueria del Rio had a new sign out front proclaiming Sheik's House BBCue. Intriguing since, given the name, I didn't know whether this was going to be a Middle Eastern grill joint or good ol' Amercian 'cue. It is the latter, and after only one visit, I'm ready to pronounce it the best I've had in town. Now I like Jones a lot, but the meat at this place is a lot more flavorful and smoky. The sauce might be too sweet for some but, get over it!

Sheik is a very large man who has obviously done extensive research and experimentation with 'cue and uses a huge kettle grill on the sidewalk to do his cooking.

It's located on Des Moines Memorial Drive, about half a block north of 120th. You'll probably see the Taqueria Del Rio sign before the Sheik's sign. Go...now...if this place goes out of business, I'm gonna be pissed!
