Last week I was working late in SF. About 10, a friend took me to the Brazen Head in Cow Hollow/Marina for dinner. I had never been there before. It has no sign, accepts only cash, is small and very dark. The well stocked bar (several good tequilas) manned by Jimmy takes up half of the space. It served a very nice steak house kind of menu at about 2/3 the steakhouse price. I have checked the SF board and the SF hounds rave about the Ceaser salad, the veal piccatta, the rib-eye steaks (which I had and thought was great), etc.
Do we have anything like this in San Diego? [It had some surface similarities to Bully's but the food and ambiance was vastly better; imagine veal piccata at Bully's--Not)
