Savannah/Tybee report

Had to share: just got back from Tybee/Savannah and had lovely/great meals at:

On Tybee:

George's (more food than I can list)

North Shore Grill (marvelous conch fritters, ropa viejo, black bean cakes, salmon)

Tango (bouillabaise, baby lamb chops, veggie plate, which included brie quesadillas and fried plaintains)

Breakfast Club--shrimp and grits, omelettes, etc.

In Savannah:

Tapas (boar sausage with lingonberries, crab and potato cake, garlicky green beans)

Vinnie's a Go Go (pizza) (groan--too good)

Moon River Brewery (good beer and toritlla soup--not a whole meal. But wonderful beer)

Sentient Bean (just coffee and pasties, but a really neat place).

Note, all these had very good (not just a salad) vegetarian options, and the wine lists at Tango and George's were marvelous. The service alone at Tango was worth the price of admission,so the fantastic food and wine (and dining on the back porch overlooking the marshes) were icing.
Very nice trip
