Where can I find a nice Saturday lunch, not a steakhouse? Seems the better lunch places/restaurants in general don't serve lunch on Saturdays, just Sunday brunches.
Sel de la Terre is one of the few I've been to, and it's great. Wonderful soups, sandwichs. Also a big fan of the steak frites.
Henrietta's Table is nice if you're in the mood for a big lunch. Good pates, good OJ, decent carving and omelette stations. I really like the opportunity to eat lots of raw oysters, and a good selection of greens, too.
Parish Cafe is good too, but not in the mood for sandwichs. Hope their decision to take the Ming Tsai/Blue Ginger/Seared Tuna/whatever they call it, off their menu is not permanent.
Legal's is fine, but been there done that.
Thanks for your help! Hope I didn't ramble too long. Long time lurker, first time poster.
