Visited this past Saturday based on the recent raves here. Had the shoyu ramen. Broth flavor was superb. Not too oily and not too salty. Different than that of Tampopo.
Downsides: small portion for the price, and the bowl of rice with dried fish and seawood that accompanied the set I ordered was unexceptional.
Nevertheless, in my book, Santoka now joins Tampopo in Gardena for my top two ramen joints in the South Bay.
