Sandwiches at Bagel Street Cafe, Dublin

In response to several kind suggestions on this board, I started going here a couple months ago. I tend heavily toward the tuna sandwich, and have not been disappointed.

First, this is not Shep's usual tuna salad sandwich, no mayo, extra onions, nothing else. The value in this offering is that it comes literally heaped with produce: tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, sprouts, good dark green lettuce that you can actually taste, plus the trimmings. It amounts to a tuna salad sandwich plus a garden salad. By itself, it fills me up. Tastes good, too. I always get whole wheat, and it's pretty much baloon bread, but it's sliced double thick to support that load of salad, and tastes OK. They have a number of vegetarian or non-red-meat sandwiches, so I'll have to widen my choices.

Maybe some day I'll try the bagels, but right now I'm just as happy with Manhattan Bagel.

I'd like to say that this is an independent, but Google says they have locations in California, Seattle, B.C., Memphis, Japan, and Korea, at a glance.
