From Chicago I am going to visit SLC for one night (7/15) and find a good chinese restaurant for dinner. I've searched the forum and found two restaurants: The Mandarin (in bountiful) and Little World (in State Street). Which one would you recommend?
It seems like that the Mandarin is more famous, better decor, more crowede, little Americanized, little too sweet sauce, not a good seafood (or fish) dishes. On the other hand, Little world is more authentic, minimal decor, less crowded, good at noodle soup and Tao's Chicken.
Can anyone comment on this? We like to have a good Chinese food (esp. good cantonese Chow Fun, noodle soup, nice meat dishes as well as fresh seafood). We don't want too Americanized dish, nor too sweet sauce.
Still is it worth to drive to the Mandarin?
