Am just beginning to learn about low sodium eating, and I am trying to figure out if there ARE options for eating restnt Asian, but low sodium (I know, an oxymoron if there ever were one). I am figuring that soy sauce cooking, chinese and japanese, is going to be out (for the time being). But i am wondering what dishes are around town that are non-soy dependant Chinese and Japanese... (stir fry tofu, noodles, rice cakes and veggies w/o soy? ramen made with a non heavily salted/soy sauced broth? ) Thai w/o fish sauce? I did call Sapporo and the waitress came back from the chef, saying 'LOTS of salt' re their broths. phooey.
Sure i can adjust my own Asian cooking; just wondering about eating out options.....Such a bummer. Thx for any help.
