Saigon Sandwich, Wrap Delight and Mijita

I had the pleasure of being on jury duty, so I ate nothing but vietnamese sandwiches for a week

after sampling sandwiches from both Saigon Sandwich and Wrap Delight, I have to say that Saigon makes a better sandwich, the sandwiches at Saigon have a better balance of meat and vegetables, whereas wrap delight stuffs their sandwiches with massive amount of pickled carrots, plus saigon charges 25 cents less on a few of the sandwiches

Mijita in the ferry building - i saw on the chalkboard that they were offering tortas, so we ordered a care asada torta and the huevos con chorizo

the carne asada torta came on a soft torpedo roll with guacamole, lettuce, tomates and cheese; it was horrible -- the meat was cold, and the bread was also cold and tasteless; and it cost 8.50

huevos con chorizo -- the eggs were just ok, but they only give you two small tortillas with it and the beans that come with the dish are tasteless

i can't comprehend why Mijita can't turn out better food than this, especially with the prices they're charging, oh well, i can say that i won't be back there again
