Saburi - Review

So, I ate at Saburi (its specializes in a japanese rendition of chinese food), I thought it was very good

What we ate:
1) Soup dumplings (i.e. xiao lon bao): decent, nothing mind blowing, but did the job
2) Crab claw & shrimp croquette: very good, thought it had good flavor and was not too greasy even though it was deep fried
3) Tonkotsu Ramen: People recommended this dish on chowhound, I thought the noodles were good, but the broth itself was a little on the bland side; i've had better renditions
4) Subuta (sweet & sour pork): Was decent, but too small (like 6 pieces of meat)
5) Gomoku Chahan (pork fried rice): Very good, I love good chahan
6) Steamed Crab: pretty good, just a simple steamed crab with a soy based sauce, overall though good
7) Unagi Ishiyaki Don: fairly standard, but I love unagi, so i liked it
8) Kani Tama (crab omelette): really standout, everyone agreed this was the best dish; its a big bowl with rice and then an omelette that has crab in in on top and then covered in a oyster sauce...REALLY GOOD

Overall, there were some dishes I would probably switch up, but I liked the restaurant alot and its definately worth a try (it's different from the norm)
