Just had lunch at Oya. The space is amazing. I work right across the street and had no idea how spacious it was inside.
The RW menu was nice and lots to choose from. My friend and I had the fruit gazpacho for the first course. Really nice melons with a hint of ginger and lemongrass. I had the Glazed Salmon and my friend the Peppered Steak. I know she enjoyed her meal. The salmon was good but it was paired with a coconut palenta that was a little too sweet with the glaze of the salmon. And for dessert we both had the Banana Bread Pudding with rum raisin ice cream. Which I have to say was absolute heaven!
The portion sizes were just right. And the service was excellent. They immediately gave me a black napkin! Talk about accommodating. It was a great way to see the inside of this beautiful space and enjoy a great meal without having to spend a fortune.
