Northern NJ Hounds, I hope you all appreciate the culinary gems you have. As a transplanted Jersey boy, we die a little everyday in Florida.
Back for the first time in 10 years, I immediately hit White Castle for 4, then on to Rutt's Hutt for those incredible dogs - too stuffed to have their onion rings. The next morning it was the B&W bakery in Hackensack, lunch at Brooklyn Pizza (fantastic new place) and dinner at Tracy's Nine Mile House - 60 years of great steak sandwiches - as good as ever. In to NYC to The Carnegie Deli (unreal pastrami) and some real good Chinese at Empire Hunam back in Bergen County - very, very good.
You all are sooo lucky!
