Help! There was so much great food in Italy but what I'm missing most are the fabulous antipasti and good pasta dishes...mmm wild boar and paparadelle (sp?), linguine in butter and olive oil with shaved truffles. Not having a lot of luck in Boston, and I haven't yet broken down enough to pay $30+ to try the pasta at Bricco (which I hear is fab.)
Trying to refine my request for recommendations:
#1 Favorite place for really GOOD pasta dishes. Simple is okay.
#2 Anywhere for fritto misto? (Mmmm, stuffed zucchini flowers, ricotta, etc.)
#3 Favorite antipasti dishes?
#4 Can a traditional panini be found anywhere? (tuna and egg, salami and egg, etc.)
Also, are there affordable options? Bonus points for East Village.
