LA native here. Frequent visitor of Chicago ISO of a nice anniversary meal w/ gf (early 20's) who's deathly afraid of a 'stodgy' room.
So I've read the wonderful "Re: (1) Tibet and (2) expensive and romantic" thread from last year, as well as the "UTTERLY UNOFFICIAL VISITOR TIP SHEET V1" etc. & arrived upon Bistrot Margot, Cafe Spiaggia & Blackbird.
My Q: which restaurant has a young(er) crowd? If none of the above, anyone care to give other suggestions?
ps. this would be SO much easier if done in LA. R-23, Pastina, La Petit, etc. would all fit the bill...
