This is about as perfect a salad as I've ever had, and so simple, too. Does anyone know what the salad dressing is?
Since so much of the dining experience at Otto is making sure you have room for dessert, I love ordering several of the vegetable courses there. Tonight, we tried three, the always reliable caponata and cauliflower, as well as excellent beets. We also ordered the dandelion green salad, with a salad dressing that our waiter described accurately as "sort of like a Caesar salad dressing, but even more aggressive."
But nothing we ate, except the gelato, could compete with that romaine salad.
