R.J.Patisserie - oasis in Hacienda Heights

Saw a sign on Azuza Blvd. just south of the 60 - a few blocks up. This is an absolutely charming watering spot, like the Marquise de Sevigny on the Champs Elysee - very pretty interior with a huge array of cakes large and small. They have a tea time treat for $5 - coffee or various teas (various coffees too) with a cake - I had my all time favorite, Mont Blanc with chestnut cream inside. SO had Strawberry mousse delight (I think it was called Pink Lady), very light and well balanced flavor. Granddaughter who has gone from Britney Spears to Biker Girl within a year had iced coffee - we all pronouned everything to be tops. The cakes and teas were served on adorable trays - it had a very Asian/French atmosphere and was delicious as well. The plates for the cakes were Villeroy and Bosch with real cake forks.
