Haven't seen any recent posts on Rito's and hadn 't been there in a while so I tried it on Friday with a friend. Rito's is on the corner of 14th street and Garfield. It has no sign and no parking lot but you will know you are there because of all the people and cars parked on the street. I don't think the menu has changed since they opened: Green or Red Chili Burrito, Green or Red Chili Chimichanga. You can have them enchilada style and can add rice or beans but that's it.
My firend opted for the Green Chili Burrito and loved it but it's a pretty messy eat since the green chili pork filling is somewhat loose. My Green Chili Chimi was outstanding. It came with sour cream, guac and cheese and was definitely knife and fork material. It had a little zing to it and the pork was fork tender. Really well done item with great flavors. Saw a post from a couple of years ago that said the green chili pork could have come from a can. No way. This was over the top good food.
The place is simple. You order at the counter and wait for your number to be called and then take your meal to go or sit on the patio which is actually pretty nice. Of course you have to be in the mood for it's limited menu but I can't wait to go back.
