Finally made it to this place a few weeks ago.
Dave Feldman--they still have the orangey french dressing. I'm pretty sure it's the Marzetti brand. I used to love it as a kid. At the New Riegel Cafe, they drench a handful of tired, watery iceberg lettuce with the stuff. I took two bites and left the rest.
On the other hand, the ribs were quite tasty. They had a sauce that reminded me a lot of a place that used to have good ribs in Cleveland. The 1/2 chicken was pretty decent -- the thigh and leg portion was very tasty, but the breast was dry and the wing was inedible. The fries that came with the chicken and ribs were excellent!
Our bill for one chicken dinner, one double order of ribs dinner, one side salad, and three soft drinks came to $25. This is a real chowhound type of place.
