I ate at this restaurant 20 years ago, before I had developed a more sophisticated palate, and before I had many Roman restaurants to compare it to. I have wonderful memories of the place, especially the salumi platter. I had been recommended to the owner by a friend of his and so perhaps we were treated with more care and special attention. He snatched the menus out of our hands saying you don't need these, and proceeded to bring us course after course of what I remember to be fabulous food. But I was young and green and I was in Rome and everything was filtered through rose colored (make that terra cotta) glasses. So my question is...has anyone eaten here and what is the consensus?
