Review: One Bistro (Long)

Last night my husband and I hit One Bistro at the Four Points Sheraton in Norwood on Rt 1 South.

It was practically empty due to Halloween but the food was great.

For an appetizer he had what he called the best calamari anywhere and he orders it everywhere we go.

My appetizer were thai shrimp spring rolls (2) which were nothing special, but the spicy mango and chili sauce they came with was hot and very flavorful.

For an entree he had lambchops with sauteed spinach and roasted potatoes. And I had a beef tender special which were 4 mini filet mignons (about 10 oz total) with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus which was done perfectly.

For dessert he had coffee and I had Double Chocolate Meringues which had dark chocolate ice cream, in between them making 2 ice cream sandwiches. They were supposed to be pralines over them, but when I mentioned my allergy they included fresh strawberries instead.

The service was wonderful and the bill (2 appetizers 1 beer, 1 soft drink, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and coffee)
came to $79 before tip. I will definitely return.
