A friend will be visiting from Costa Rica for 6 days who has never been to Philadelphia. She is a fan of BYOB's and Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean and would like to try Spanish food. I want her to experience some of the local favorites as well as some local cuisine (Pat's, or Ginos or Tony Lukes?).
I am primarily interested in dinner places, but a few suggestions for breakfast and lunch would also be appreciated. Being we will be eating out most meals, I need to keep the prices on the moderate side.
I am somewhat new to Philadelphia and live in center city (Rittenhouse area) and while I would like to stay in the general area of the city, it is not a problem venturing out by car as we will be driving to the "Amish" country and other places. Thanks.
