I'm going on a road trip in July. What are the best restaurants down south, maybe in Monterrey, Santa Cruz, Carmel, Santa Barbara, Big Sur, etc.?
Perhaps a mix of haute cuisine and "road food"-type local specialties, off-the-beaten-track type places.....
who are the good chefs cooking down there?
I've heard Siera Mar is good. Any truth to this?
