Went there tonight with my vegetarian Domestic Partner, with some trepidation. Just the name alone is a bit off-putting, especially to a native (and escaped) Californian.
The dishes we tried, "Basiled Eggplant" (and string beans) $7, and "Thai Style Bean Curd Wraps" $12, were very, very tasty. Breautifully presented. A delight.
There is a large, seperate menu for drinks, including a variety of fruit and/or vegetable concoctions, and some remarkable teas.
We eat at all the vegetarian places, and this one is by far the best. Worthy of a 5-star rating. I think the carnivores would appreciate it too, although is is vegan. I look forward to returning.
