I was Paris about a year ago and went to a restaurant called "les pates vivantes" (living noodles". You could see the cooks in the windows stretching noodles in noodle strings yards long and throw them on a large griddle where they undulated as they cooked. Then they served them in a broth so hot that only major endorphins allowed is to continue. When we finished we were a mess with the broth all over us. Totally delicious. Is there a restaurant like this in Los Angeles? Don't need the theatrics necessarily only the end result.
