So I've been checking into various places to eat that aren't official restaurants....
Did you see the article in last week's paper about Locavores? People who only eat food produced w/i 100 miles in an effort to support sustainable farms (organic, humane, etc)- http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article...
Anyway, while digging around on one of the reference pages, I found out that the Wise Food Ways people host a monthly dinner in the Lower Haight for $30.
It could be really cool w/ great food; weird freaky; just plain stupid or - worst case scenario - bad food. But I noticed that they allow BYOB, so I'm gonna go w/ 3 friends & check it out (taking good wine as insurance).
I'll let you know how it goes.
If anyone wants to join us, let me know (email is email@example.com).
