Report-Rombi's Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Finally tried this place last night and we were very pleased. The menu offers some very interesting Italian choices. Rombi's serves only wine but they do have it by the glass as well as by the bottle. We both ordered canneloni and it was probably the best we've ever had. The meal started with 1 very small bruchetta which was tasty, followed by warm foccacia with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip, then a wonderful cream of carrot soup. Next came a mesclun salad dressed with a creamy garlic dressing. Finally we were served our canneloni which consisted of two tubes filled with a delicious meat filling, one tube sauced with a white sauce and one tube with a red sauce. As we were finishing our meal the chef/owner Frank came to our table, introduced himself and thanked us for coming. We also enjoyed a piece of his chocolate cake (ordered with two forks). This place has been written up by the OC Register and I found that review to be quite accurate. The service was excellent and the prices are reasonable.
