on a college visit to smith, my daughter and i ate at the green st cafe located on green st in northampton, ma.
the space was very different. evidently a bookstore converted to a restaurant. kind of a dinghy space tried to look nice. interesting, seemingly sad portraits on the walls. live guitar player playing soft background music.
the food quality was very good. we both had the chicken kiev which came with home made french fries and glazed carrots. a cafe salad aslo came with the entree.
total price with tax and tip - $56.00 total for 2
to me, it was on the side of a place where the quality is very good, portions smaller and prices higher.
