We did a mini crawl in Berkeley and checked out the Oakland Greek Festival.

Epicurious Garden-We went to Socca Oven and got 3 soccas: pork, scallop, and cod. 4 of us finished them all and thought they were pretty good for healthy eats. Pretty unique.

Soop-we just tried the samples. Can't remember all we tried but they were pretty good.

No real seating inside, but the patio is fine. Needs some tables though. There is bathrooms but didn't check them out.

Guerilla Cafe-had the waffle w/ fruit. I wished the waffle was crispy, but it was pretty good. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but the cappucino was ok for me, next time I'd get the latte. Pecan pie is good. They take credit card, one tiny bathroom.

Gregoire-had the Grilled beef patty with Gorgonzola & pecan in a sweet bun. $7.00-it's tasty. Chilled calamari & white bean salad with garlic focaccia. $7.50 was ok.

Oakland Greek Festival-entered in free w/ A's tickets (Thanks Windy) gyros just ok. Husband liked the lamb chop the best-bit salty but tasty. Greek sausage just ok. Would be nice if in the area and better weather. Parking at the Mormon Temple (right next door)and then walking is easy and Free.
