I seldom see the LA Times but came across yesterday's food section and was entertained by the article on being a regular at restaurants-- why people fall into the habit, what frequency of patronage qualifies 'regulars', how restaurants respond differently to repeat customers.
Anyway, I know I patronize the same set of places frequently, and yet some of them, paradoxically, are not places I would rate as my favorites (some of them I hate). I am curious about where other LA chowhound regulars frequent--regularly-- and why.
In the interest of partial disclosure and in proximate order of frequency (from multiple times per week to once a month), moderated by expectation of recognition/welcome, I will reveal:
