Regional American delights in NYC

OK, so you can get a Chicago-style hot dog at the Shake Shack, New Orleans cuisine at Jacques Imo's, Baltimore-style crabs at Clemente's (in Brooklyn), and Philly cheesesteaks all over the place -- what other regional American specialties are available in NYC? I don't mean "southern fried chicken," which is available everywhere, or Buffalo wings, which by this point have become a national dish, not a regional one. Is there any place in town that serves pasties (originally from the UK but also very popular in northern Michigan)? Or goetta (Cincinnati breakfast sausage)? Or other tastes of Americana here in NYC?
