Just a few quick notes:
Ate at Reef last night(170 Brighton Ave. Near corner of Brighton and Harvard).
Every bit as good as the hounds say. Best Middle Eastern/Lebanese food I have had in years. Ate the stuffed cabbbage and the Mousakka. Neither are exactly what I expected, both were sublime. Also best baklava (made with pistachios) I have possibly ever had. Run, don't walk!
4 of us at dinner at Atlantic Fish Co. on Boylston in the back bay. So much better then I expected. Though folks on this board have praised it. I had a really well done soupy style paella. I am a VERY harsh critic of bad paella and this rocked. Another bud had crab cakes, fabulous and I can't remember the rest buy everyone raved.
Finally at at Red Sauce in Watertown in the Arsenal complex. I was VERY hesitant as I REALLY disliked naked fish, and I am very hesitant to eat anywhere that is at all a chain. That said, I had the pasta sampler: gnocchi, lasagna, and pumkin ravioli. There were really excellent with homemade pasta in the ravioli and lasagna. As good as I would have expected a much foofier and more expensive italian place. Can't believe I am saying this, but I will go back.
