ok asheville 'hounds, i'm in totally new territory here. while i do eat meat-free at home at least once a week, i never go out for it.
i have a business associate coming into town who i am entertaining friday night. he is from india, and he is a vegetarian. i haven't had an opportunity to talk to him about this yet, so i don't know if a place that serves meat and vegetarian would be acceptable (i'm assuming beef would be the big issue). i prefer to stay away from vegetarian that caters to meat-eaters (ie no tofurkey, etc).
i know about laughing seed; is it any good? what other options are there? i thought of mela, assuming that they do vegetarian, but since he eats the real deal at home, i don't know if that would be a good choice (plus he might like some variety from his usual fare).
any help will be greatly appreciated.
