We're heading this weekend to a knife and cutlery store in Intercourse, coming from Philadelphia. The website suggests T. Burk and Co. for lunch. I was hoping, and I know I am probably deluding myself, that we could stop somewhere for a nice Amish lunch. I have great memories those lunches 30 years ago, but what I've gathered from these boards is that these places are not what they used to be (if they ever were at all- it was pretty easy to impress my 10 -year -old self with baskets of fried chicken and plates of shoo fly pie).
What is T. Burk and is it worth it? Any suggestions for those family style meals of my youth?
